Kab-Kadett Magazine Xt1
- Evaluation of the publisher – 9.5/10
- Customer valuation – 9.1/10
The Cub Cadet Xt1 is a powerful tractor that offers great versatility on a ride-on mower. By comparison, it is at the affordable end of the price spectrum, making it one of the best price-quality ratios in today’s market. Even at such a competitive price it is equipped with many high quality parts such as the 22 hp engine and the new hydrostatic transmission. You also don’t save on the width of the cutting board, because it is a large 46-inch cutting beam. These include accessories such as LED lighting for adverse weather conditions and a cruise control to make mowing easier. Although it lacks certain features to keep production costs down, the Cadet Xt1 is a well-balanced tractor, ideal for people on a tight budget.

We are happy to say that Cub Cadet Xt1 was a surprisingly good mower. Given the aggressive pricing, it was much better than expected and disappointed most expectations. In the beginning the 22 hp engine was very responsive and provided enough power for the wheels. Even moderately steep slopes were not a problem for the mower, and although they are not designed to rise more than 15 degrees, we found that the rating was quite conservative. The wide mowing deck made it possible to mow quickly, but we noticed that the grass clippings were not of the best quality. A few bumps have been noticed, but this is to be expected for almost all models in this price range. The curve wasn’t the tightest either, but even here it’s standard on tractors of this size. It also had the ability to pull medium loads with a tiller, and we think it is suitable for light gardening work. One major defect we noticed was the plastic hood, so be careful when moving the vehicle near potentially dangerous objects. In general, we think that the Xt1 cadet is one of the best performing on the access market.
Again Kab Kadett Xt1 was surprisingly good at everything that was counted. Its motorised drive, combined with a wide mower deck, made it easy and efficient to eat anything in its path. Although the chassis is not strong enough to carry heavy loads, it does not deform with moderate loads and is ideal for light traction work. We recommend this mower for both beginners and experienced users with lawns from 1 to 3 hectares. If you are not satisfied driving a lawnmower, check the best zero-turn mower.
